I think the Chai shirt greatly outweighs the Trash cookbook. I had to forgo a groovy t-shirt for myself in order to bring back that shirt just for you, since space was a premium on return trip. Trash ckbk was a silly impulse with good entertaining intentions. And I'd like to point out that it did entertain us. Really, I think I should get high points for both, but if you consider the slight disturbance of the Trash ckbk compared to the great hassle I went through to bring back Chai shirt and the great joy you received from it, I think I am ahead in this game. I don't know if you noticed, but the "Live and let Chai" shirt isn't even on their website, which makes it even more important and cool. Gift horse-mouth. ;)

What's so funny about owning a potato ricer? They're great - I use mine not-infrequently.

Run her ass over when she gets out of the car! That'll make her think twice about scamming somebody else's space.

I like your description of the blood red moon. Not to spoil your magical moment, but if you want the scientific explanation, it can be found here: http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2002/24jun_moonillusion.htm?list628298

I got my acorn last night and after reading the letters from their Majesty and their Highnesses, I went to the MOL letter. I was sorry to read you're stepping down as KMOL. You've done an excellent job and been an incredible resource. I for one, appreciate all of your hard work in that office. I must have been frustrating and difficult at times, yet you always managed to be approachable and easy to talk to. You set a very good example for others.
Good luck on the new turn your mundane job has taken. I hope it's a "good thing" (tm) for you.
